Kelly is a Dagenham Girl and Essex Playwright. She was the winner of the BBC Drama Award in 2014. She has recently completed the Emerging Playwrights Program at The Bush Theatre. Kelly has a passion for community and social change projects, particularly with the LGBTQ community and her queer identity is very important to her work. She runs a Queer Arts Collective.
